PASS Team is pleased to announce the release of Revit-PASS/START-PROF Module v. 3.1.0.

The key enhancement in this version is automatic export of piping systems from Autodesk Revit.

This update makes the workflow faster and easier for users by eliminating the need for manual preparation and configuration. There is no need to change family settings or perform manual mapping – the module automatically processes the required data and exports piping systems from Revit.

As a result, users can generate the required export data more efficiently, reduce routine manual operations, and streamline the transfer of piping systems from Revit for further engineering workflows.

The new version is designed to make integration between Autodesk Revit and PASS/START-PROF more straightforward, reliable, and convenient for engineering teams.

PASS Team took part in TOPS 2026, the annual professional and scientific conference dedicated to district heating. The event was held on June 1–5, 2026, in Zlatibor, Serbia, and was organized by the District Heating Business Association Toplane Srbije.

PASS Team participated in the conference for the first time together with its partner and distributor in the Balkan region, MONTPASS d.o.o. Tivat.

TOPS is a well-established meeting platform for managers and experts from Serbian district heating companies, representatives of district heating organizations from other Balkan countries and the European Union, equipment and material suppliers, software vendors, and the academic community.

The conference agenda covered a broad range of economic and technical aspects of district heating, including DHC decarbonization, the use of renewable and waste energy sources, energy storage and reuse, network renovation, technological innovation, the development and implementation of national and international standards, and environmental protection.

At its exhibition booth, PASS Team presented the full range of PASS software tools for piping and equipment engineering.

In addition, Alex Matveev, PASS/START-PROF Product Owner, delivered a presentation on PASS software solutions and practical experience in their application for district heating and power industry projects (see District Heating Network Stress Analysis using PASS/START-PROF (pdf)).

We are pleased to have joined TOPS 2026 and look forward to developing cooperation with the District Heating Business Association "Toplane Srbije" and the professional district heating community in Serbia and the wider Balkan region.

PASS Team is pleased to announce the launch of its online store.

At the moment, the store offers Revit–PCF integration modules for purchase.

This step is aimed at making our solutions more accessible to potential users, simplifying license delivery logistics, and increasing awareness of the PASS brand.

The Revit–PCF integration module enables users to export piping systems from Autodesk Revit to .PCF files, which can then be used to generate isometric drawings in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

This integration gives Autodesk Revit users access to isometric drawing generation capabilities, provided that AutoCAD Plant 3D is available.

The online store offers customers the option to purchase the Revit–PCF module separately, without purchasing PASS/Start-Prof software.

Customers can pay directly by bank card or via PayPal.

Licenses are delivered within one business day after payment is received.

Experts in process and plant safety from across Europe gathered in a relaxing venue of the Hotel Palma, Tivat, Montenegro, for a two-day (18-19 May 2026) EDUG meeting to share their experiences. Participants’ presentations on topics such as pressure relief, reaction calorimetry, and risk management, provided a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art.

The European DIERS Users' Group (EDUG) is a professional network of academics, consultants, and industry experts dedicated to plant and process safety. It serves as a regional European forum to discuss emergency relief system design using technology developed by the Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS).

This year EDUG meeting was co-organized and co-sponsored by MONTPASS Tivat d.o.o., PASS Team partner and distributor in the Balkan region. Besides to co-organizing and coordinating all meeting activity, MONTPASS and PASS Team have made 3 presentations focused on PASS software features and on-going scientific research and software development:

  • PASSUITE software general review (Leonid Korelstein)
  • PASS/Hydrosystem and PASS/Safety valve general review (Elena Yudovina)
  • Two-Dimensional Interpolation of Multiphase Fluid Properties and Results of Its Implementation in Piping Fluid Flow Analysis Software (Maria Skripachenko, Leonid Korelstein)

Cultural program of the meeting included boat tour on Bay of-Kotor, with visits and excursions to UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kotor and Perast.

The participants enjoyed the meeting, the service, and the stay in this unique location. Looking forward for the next EDUG meetings!
